Direct Rehome
Our Direct Rehoming program is a registration and adoption service designed to help you find the perfect new home for your horse.
We understand that rehoming a horse can be a sensitive process, with reasons varying widely, and people often feel judged. That’s why we’re here to provide support and ensure your horse’s future is secure. Direct Rehome offers peace of mind, knowing you’ve prioritized your horse’s welfare.
If you’d like to use our Direct Rehome program, once registered, your horse will be listed on our website and matched with a suitable home.

Adopt a Friend
Help us rehabilitate and rehome Shetland ponies by adopting one today!
While we mainly focus on rehoming Shetland ponies, we occasionally have other breeds available.
Our adoption program offers ponies as companions, and sometimes we have pair-bonded ponies seeking a home together.
Please note, we do not rehome ponies for riding or driving purposes.
All ponies are rehomed on an adoption basis and remain under the ownership of the charity.
This provides excellent security for the pony, as they can return to the sanctuary at any time if needed.
If you're interested in providing a home for a companion pony and would like more information, please reach out to us via the contact form
The Shetland Pony Welfare Trust truly cares for these wonderful ponies and finds them loving homes.
