Join our volunteer team

Would you like to join our team of volunteers at The Shetland Pony Welfare Trust?.

A great way to get out into the countryside and make a difference,

Improve your fitness and wellbeing and have some hands-on contact with some of our tiny ponies.

Opportunities to help with pasture and stable management, Caring for the ponies.

General duties such as feeding and grooming the rescued ponies. 

Assisting with our Equine-assisted learning workshops.

Helping with our fundraising events. Such as meet and greet a Shetland Pony.

Training given 

We are also seeking volunteers to work remotely.

Do you have experience in any of the following areas?

Digital Marketing/Website admin. 

Social Media Marketing.

Assisting with online fundraising and events 

The opportunities are endless.

We are also keen to hear from groups or businesses that would like to participate in our volunteer days.
